Letting Go Of: If Only
If only I was thinner, or had more money. I know you have said that, and could probably finish the sentence. There is always going to be a reason or excuse why things could always be better. With that in mind, let's focus on the fact of what is. What are your realities of your life? Do you have 10 or 20 pounds that you could loose? Wish you had more time for yourself? Do you wish you had a newer car? On and on the list could go.
It's time to start accepting yourself and your life for the way it is. You need to come to a realization that it is the way it is. Yes, you still can (and should) make some positive changes for yourself and your life. Realize that you can live with a slightly older car. Just keeping it polished and maintained, and you will probably get some compliments on how nice you keep it-whatever your car's age.
The same goes with your body and how to dress it. Now is the time to start dressing well for your current body. If you know your body type and dress accordingly, I know you will get compliments on your style. Start challenging yourself and try new styles that are suggested for your body type. This is a style journey and you need to try new styles and discover what looks good on you, and what styles you like. Stop thinking about "if only" and DO jump-start your appearance -NOW! Just putting some daily effort into how you look each day, and what you wear will make your life better. I promise! People will wonder what your secret is, thinking you have it all together. C'mon I know you want people to envy you for something! They will wonder why you seem at ease with yourself and your life. Finding your personal style will be a real confidence booster!
So, it's time to let go of the "if only" thinking and dress for the skin you're in today! And as the old Life cereal commercial goes, "Try it, you'll like it!" There is no better time to start your style than today!
