Having a new look isn’t Mission Impossible. Your latest style mission-should you choose to accept, will empower you to new heights that you never dreamed possible! It can be life changing and give you a fresh outlook. A new do can be the start of something really great in your life! Are you ready to cut to the chase (or the hair that is)?
I know you are! Since you joined MSP to make some fun changes in your appearance and life, it’s time to get busy. So here goes, your mission is to plan a new hairstyle! Yes, it is a big deal! When was the last time you changed your hairstyle?
Is your hair style stuck in a rut? Have you been wearing the same style for the last couple of years, or worse, you’re in a time warp and haven’t changed your do since high school? Is your hair perpetually in a pony tail or banana clip? If so, it’s time to make a change to update your look. Or it could be a minor tweaking of the style you already have—either way, take a look in the mirror and check out your hair. This is another important part of how you look to the rest of the world. I have seen by thousands of pictures sent in to me, and I can honestly say I know a lot of you are in fact, overdue for a new hairstyle. It is time to take on the “hairstyle mission” it’s not impossible!
As you embark on your style journey of finding the clothes that fit and flatter your body type-you can not overlook outdated, tired hair. You must assess your hair and hairstyle because it is a very important part of the whole package-YOU! Think for a minute, if you see a woman that looks put together and stylish, her hair is part of her complete look. So doesn’t it make sense to up-date your look, too?
Here’s what I want you to do. First, realize that you should go to a better quality salon that will take some time with you. A place that will explain how to take care of your hairstyle and knows how to color, as well as recommend certain styles that works for your type of hair. Not a place that just cuts off a couple of inches and needs to get to the next appointment. Go to the best salon that you can afford. Ask around, perhaps a friend or acquaintance with a really cute haircut can recommend someone that does a great job. Start looking in magazines and get some style ideas.
Prior to making an appointment, you will need to do you homework first. There are some important factors to keep in mind before you choose a hair style that will be flattering for you.
I will explain how body shape and face shape are important factors in selecting the right hairstyle. Style help along with pictures will be available to you in your personal profile on Thursday!
