Missus Smarty Pants Talks Back

Dear MissusSmartyPants,

I am 24 and a recent college grad with my first professional job. I didn't know how to put together my wardrobe for work. I had a lot of stuff from college, but not much was usable for my new job. I am so glad I found you, because I am on a budget but need to put my best foot forward at work.

I just needed to let you know what a difference doing the closet purge made on me! Wow! I feel so much better, like a weight is lifted off my chest. I really have a new outlook on everything. This feeling happily surprised me!

I was hesitant to get rid of clothes that I had for so long, they had become sentimental to me. I knew they just took up space, but they reminded me of my past, and besides if I purge them from my closet, I will hardly have anything left! It seemed scary.

Then I read 5 reasons to closet purge. I decided to get up the courage and do it! I asked the closet purge questions as I went through my clothes, one by one. I found out most of my clothes didn't fit at all. I began to realize that these unworn clothes just clutter up my closet and my mind. They wasted my time looking at them. They no longer served any useful purpose in my life.

Clearing up and giving to charity was rewarding. I feel I have an opportunity to bless someone with my unwanted clothes. Now I can go on with my closet organizing and really put my Personal Profile into action! I've now got a plan in mind and it really is making some positive changes for me at home and in my new job!
